DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
You can delete your Sharper Daily account at any time, from the app or by email. This page lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
In the app
Open Sharper Daily → Settings → Delete Account (at the bottom of Settings), then confirm twice. You need an internet connection and must be signed in to the account you want to delete.
Without the app
Email sharperdailyapp@gmail.com from the address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We reply to confirm and delete the account within 30 days.
The app data on your phone never reached us, so an email request cannot remove it. Remove it yourself by uninstalling the app, or with Android Settings → Apps → Sharper Daily → Storage → Clear storage.
What is deleted
- Your account at our sign-in provider, Supabase: your email address, your password hash, the link to your Google or Apple sign-in, and the name and profile-picture link Google shared; and all your sign-in sessions.
- When you delete in the app, also everything the app kept for your account on that phone: saved quotes, likes, notes, reflections, streak, badges, progress, your account's settings, and your scheduled reminders.
What is kept
- Deleting your account does NOT cancel a Sharper+ subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Google Play keeps its own order records of any purchase.
- Our subscription provider RevenueCat keeps its customer record for your account's random ID (no name or email): basic device information such as the platform and app version and, if you subscribed, the purchase record.
- Server backups at our sign-in provider are overwritten within 30 days.
- Our sign-in provider keeps a security log of account events (such as sign-ins), which can include your email address and IP address.
- Short-lived technical logs at our server and email-delivery providers expire on their own.
- Anonymous usage statistics (Aptabase) are not linked to you or your account, so there is nothing to delete.
